| I'm in Hattiesburg. Just got here like an hour ago. It sure does feel good to be back here at the 'ol apt. It's going on it's 3rd year of providing a residence for Jessica and I. Who, by the way, is the best roomate ever. Not only did she surprise me by showing up at my house with a poster and balloons and my bday present when I got home Saturday in Meridian....but she left me signs all over the apt welcoming me back since she was at work when I got here. Not to mention the apt is spic and span (spelling error?). Anyways...I'm pretty excited to be back if you can't tell. I miss people from this summer...but it kinda evens out with the excitement of being back and everything. Just wanted to update real quick... hope to see all of you soon! | | |
| Be prepared for a selfish post if you dare to read on.
So can I just say that I really really miss home...when I say home I am referring to Meridian as well as Hattiesburg. I am also referring to the people as well as the places. I won't refer to it as "homesickness," because I'm not sad or anything. The best word to describe the way I feel would have to be anxious.
I'm anxious to be home.
Anxious to see everyone.
Anxious to eat at El Norte in Meridian and Peppers in Hattiesburg!
Anxious to make the drive from Meridian to Hattie and turn my music up really loud and sing.
Anxious to be back at 810.
Anxious to be back at the B.
Anxious to go to my home church and FBC Hattiesburg.
Anxious to have my car back and be able to go wherever I want whenever I want.
Anxious for a day that I can wake up when I wake up and do nothing if I don't want to.
Anxious for things and people that I won't even realize until I get home.
Today I led my last campground worship service.
I taught the preschoolers at church for the last time.
As of right now, we have:
5 more Surf and Sand Clubs
1 more Parent's Night Out
1 more Lifeguard Dinner
1 more Family Night
1 more 1/2 price burgers night at this cute restaurant called Rayne's Reef.
1 more International Coffeehouse
and 2 flights until I step foot back in Mississippi!!!!!!!!!

| Yup..that's right. Mike, June, and Amie are flying in tomorrow at 2:10 pm. I can hardly wait...
They're staying til early Sunday morning. After that I have less than two weeks and I'm home.
